HAPPY EARTH DAY

HAPPY EARTH DAY

PostBy: AA130FIREMAN On: Thu Apr 22, 2010 9:22 am

Today being earth day, how do you celebrate this occasion ? I fired up the axeman last night to take out the chill and send a message to the outer ozone layer that I do not believe in global warming. The heavy smoke cloud was last seen drifting over Al Gore's mansion, hope it doesn't bother his carbon allergies. All jokeing aside, mother earth is a beautyful home and the only one we have so we need to take care of her, I just don't know if we have all the facts straight. :D

My daughter said this morning she needed a dandelion with the root for earth day in school, also a tulip with the bulb for extra credit. I told her to tell the teacher she may come get all the dandelions she wants  but the tulips are keepers :) After all, they give us oxygen, why pull-em???

DAMN! Foiled again! My plan was to have my 2-stroke running through the hippie section of the city on this very day. Still waiting on the crankshaft! DAMMIT!

I spent earth day elbow deep in diesel fuel, de-greasing my engine cases. 8-)

Don't get me started, if anyone gave a dam we would all make junk mail go away, how much energy is wasted on it? And modern electronics? I just discovered my TV draws 25 watt's WHEN IT'S TURNED OFF !!!

Put that junk mail to good use. Save the Post Office by increasing their revenue. Stuff the free business reply envelope with the other guys junk mail. Just be sure your name and address is removed. I make sure the envelope weighs a couple of oz. Make them pay even more. If enough people did it the junk mail might stop.

I've been doing that for years !! Except I don't remove my name and add washers of pennies or other junk mail, guess what I hardly get it any more, I get mail maybe three times a week now. I also send letters to news papers and everyone else telling them to stop leaving there junk at my house or I will bill them a five dollar disposal fee, If they don't comply they will be sued in small claims court..

Most pull some power, TV's, DVD players etc. My common complaint was the green glow in the kitchen because of 20 clocks on appliances that have no off switch.

LOL, let's celebrate the earth by ripping flowering plants out of the ground.... Anybody else see the irony here?
