Godin coal/wood burner can anyone help me figure out its val

I've just had someone ask me if my two godin coal/wood burners are for sale. I never really thought about selling them before and have no clue what their value is. One is a grande godin round #3731 that was used to burn wood briefly and acquired in 1989. The other is a petite godin #3730 and has never been used. They are both is very good shape. Any advice would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Laurie:

I just went on Google and typed in "Godin wood stove" and "Godin Stove"
I found two used stoves on Craig's list from two different cities, and another on E-bay. I'm sure you could find more if you put some time into it and also typed in "used Godin Stove" As far as the stove that has never been used, check with dealers to see what the new price is and maybe discount 15 or 20 percent. Good luck!

Hello Laurie, can you post a photo of each of your stoves?? There are a lot of different versions of the Godin stoves.

I know forum member Townsend has a nice Godin stove, it is like a square pillar, coated in blue enamel, with fancy scrolled iron work. I think he paid about $5-600 for it.

I think this company still imports them:

They're attractive room/floor heaters in the european way. I'd like to try to run one for awhile. You stuff them in the top hatch. I've seen them go in the 400-600 range for clean ones.
