I F*cking hate maryland and their lazy ass employees that work for the department of labor, licensing and regulation. F*ck them, f*ck all of them


they are claiming that i have not been eligible for unemployment benefits the whole time i collected benefits from their state, over 9,000 dollars worth.

I quit working in maryland mid septemeber because i got a new job in Pennsylvania that started a week later. Then after working in PA for two months i was laid off. I was told i had to file for my unemployment benefits through maryland. i collected for about five months then got a letter stating that since i quit qorking for my employer in maryland that i am not eligible for unemployment benefits. and i owe them over 9,000 in over payments. This doesnt make any sense to me. this must mean that you are not allowed to change jobs then all of a sudden be laid off from a new employer after a few months then collect unemployment benefits. Im so f*cking confused. Did i mention i hate the state of maryland.

Now i have to file an appeal, and hope whatever employee there that handles my appeal doesnt mess it up.

God i hate maryland so much. I hate maryland gov, and i hate most of the people in maryland

Brckwlt, I don't think there was anything that said what you had to post in this thread, so I don't have any problem with it. Seems as good a place as any to vent.

Not much different here in NYS. they will do anything in their power to not have to pay out except to themselves. NYS is on the brink of collapse and our great Govenor was on the verge of giving staff raises while cutting jobs and trying to mandate furloughs for the rest. All this and we still don't have a budget in place. Makes me proud to be from NYS.

I feel the same way about MA. They pull that same *censored* here all the time. Not to mention the attitude that you get. All my past experiences with un enjoyment haven't been pleasant ones, that's for sure!

Gotta be careful because half the time the person on the phone doesn't know their ass from their elbow, let alone their job. If they tell you some incorrect info, & you do what they say, your screwed. They don't have to answer to anybody. If your not eligible, then why the f*** did they pay you in the first place??? I hate the way the gov't runs things ...

Just wait until they get full control of our healthcare!!
