Simple House Plans Software?

Looking for something I can use to make basic house plans. Something simple you could hand to a architect and say I want real plans for this.

Downloading Google sketchup now, see how that works.

I've used PUNCH! before. Easy to learn, and it used to be cheap.

We have started using sketch up, I like it and picked up the book Google SketchUp: The Missing Manual .
It didn't take long to get down the basics and watch the tutorials they have!
We have started doing the cabinet layout and cut lists from it.
