I can't stand Verizon. I've however been a customer of theirs (Cell Phone) since like 1999. I've tried other carriers but always go back to Verizon. I've had T-Mobil, Sprint but it always seems Verizon has the best service even though I'm lucky to have service at my house.

Both my wife's and my contract runs out with them in January of 2014. We have discussed just dropping them all together and switching to another carrier. They are overpriced, their plans kind of suck, no more unlimited data or a "grandfathered unlimited plan until you upgrade and renew your contract then it goes to bend you over and rape you some more tiered" and they are pretentious. I once had a sales guy ask me in a smug tone, "Meehhh...how is the service at your homehhhhh?" When I told him that half the time I don't get service he got annoyed and literally said, "Preposterous!! We have the best service in the country." as he turned his nose up.

We're thinking about switching to either Sprint (but their coverage SUUUCKS) or AT&T but they've got pretty much the same data plans as Verizon. But they might be cheaper?

*EDIT*
For laughs I did a plan for AT&T on their website. We'd pay exactly the same with them as Verizon. Only difference is we'd have better service at our house.

Verizon and Verizon Wireless are different.

I LOATHE the wireless and happily paid the early termination fee just to get away from them.

The FiOs people are always helpful although I fear some of the wireless people and their rapist philosophy are bleeding over.

I'm in the basement on my laptop now. A little slow on the upload but not terrible. :)

And finally on my desktop wired to the router. :)

Verizon FIOS isn't even available to me in my area. I'm lucky I can get Verizon Wireless service near me. So, either way...they are both the same to me. :D

GODDAMNIT.. I once again call our nearest cable provider and they state that home is just unserviceable. WTF. I see your goddamn cable lines about 1500 ft from my home. Its one thing to be turned down for legit reasons but what the hell. This nonsense of .98Mbps DSL *censored* is getting to be alittle aggravating.
