Automatic is almost boring, isn't it?? But what a feeling of accomplishment.. and now you can finish that paperback you started 6 months ago..

I just love going out to the boiler building only once every two days.. toss in a few buckets, take out the ashpan.. look at the fire,, and give the boiler a pat on the tri-meter.. and affectionate pat..

Yep, that's the fines. It's one day's worth of fines. I could get away with pulling the lever every few days, but I'm a little obsessive about some things. I don't remember when I took the ash out last, I think it was sometime on Monday but it will be due tomorrow. The tub I have is a little too small for the compartment, it needs emptying faster.

ONE DAY of FINES???? Welll, its still a new toy.

Tractor Supply has the square tubs. Prolly holds more than the round ones.

The TSC in Blairstown didn't have them. The one I have I bought there, it's similar to the #1 utility tub I need but a few inches shorter. I plan on picking up a few more so I can just swap them.

They can order them for you. Did you get a copy of their catalog? You might even be able to order them from their website too.

I have the catalog, I'll have to look. JC sent me the link to them on the TSC website. I got a TSC gift card for Christmas.
