Gonna be whenever I have time and money (both of which I am low on right now)!

There's no urgency to get it done, the forced-air system will stay in place until I am ready to connect to the boiler. Lots to do before that happens.

Working backwards towards the boiler, kitchen is a one story addition with a slab floor. I'm going to box in the pipes along the baseboard. Adding a kickspace heater under the sink cabinet.

That radiator is a beauty. Surprised you found a monoflow tee somewhere.

I now own this bad boy, American Radiator 3 pass and the price was right...free! There's another one like it on the way. Took four of us to lift it into the truck.

So far I am very satisfied with this little project. Under the kitchen sink I plumbed in a small kickspace heater as well.

The kitchen is a one story addition on a slab. If I had known then what I know now I would have pre-plumbed it for Hydronic heat, or done radiant in the slab. Getting the pipes to the radiator was an adventure.

Yes they will be boxed in.

December 20, 2014 was the four year anniversary of the first fire in the boiler...and I forgot to celebrate!!

I am completely satisfied with my EFM. It's a great boiler. :D

Guess I have to make it a point to stick to a Spring/Fall schedule. I don't remember, think it was at least a year. Gonna pick out a spot near the boiler to keep a little notepad where I can write the date down.
There was about 4" of fly ash inside the compartment in the back of the base. The ten fire tubes were quite fuzzy inside too.
5 years in service as of December 20th. :D

I haven't looked at mine since I started it the first week of October. Probably should when the cold weather finally arrives.
