Smoke on the water!

Forest fires in the Quebec area made a smokey haze today...
Smelled like a wood fire and looked like a wood fire created smoke screen...

I remember reading of that day in elementary school, & have since wondered what would have caused it. It took almost 30 years for me to find the answer on the coal forum! :punk:

The smoke will be in my neck of the woods tomorrow. They discussed it on the local news tonight.

I was up past Mile Marker 143 this weekend and it was smokey. I did not know where the smell was coming from until I listened to the radio on the way home. Sure hope they get the blaze under control without and injuries.
Small world for sure. Iceland can control Europe with a 'radiant heat' volcano gone crazy....the Gulf becomes a toxic soup because someone didn't listen to reason.....and a fire 350 miles away makes us test our 'sniffers' thinking some 'freak' has an out of control Outdoor Wood Boiler fired up on a 80 degree day in May...
