I can only take a man's word. The scale master
said they had no deep mined coal at this time.
The coal is still the best in the area, deep or no.

That would be Roger The other weigh master is Lori the owners Rick's wife she also is a owner. Ricks brother Larry is sending mine Run / raw coal from his mine to the breaker .
I thought you were a Medowbrooks / Kimmel coal lover . By the way I agree it is One of the best coal's in the area but not the best Been buying coal of them since 1996. But there are two better ones in the area As far ash content & btu's .

Meadowbrook was good for the hand fired unit, but they are about twenty miles more per trip.
Supeior's price is also lower. I drive right by Ravine and Summit on the way. Maybe next
year I'll try someone else.

Summit will not be any better then Superior coal it will have less ash but not more btu's per lb. Try UAE exit 116 go towards lavelle pass the shell staion make a right go to the stop sign make a right on 54 to top of hill make a left on 61 go to the 4 way stop take a left go to the Jug handel at the stop sign UAE is across from you make a left then a right to the driveway about 12 miles from 81 4 miles from lavelle . 150 a ton one of the lowest ash coal you will find 6.5 to 7.5% ash with hight btu red ash coal. I thought the heat must be getting to me when I keep seeing these reply's on the Sat coffee title.............now I have read the topic and see where the coal haulers are headed. Man, you guys complain about 10 miles, and even 500 for me seems close enough..... 6 mpg loaded with a tail wind. 92 here today and humid. No rain in sight, bad for crops and the lawns. Great for the folks at the lakes and ocean, come on up! Lakes are 76 degrees, ocean is 68.
