Yep - summers almost over!
I stocked up while my supplier had a sale right after I had shut down for the season back in April. Had my normal 4 pallets delivered ... even though I didn't use all 4 last year (4.8 tons on 4). Now I think I have somewhere close to 6 tons in the basement.

You guys are definitely ready for the 'Cold Snap' that is several months away.
Do you watch episodes of 'Ice Road Trucker' often?
What the hell is up with 'summer's half over'.
'Cabinover' will chime in with Vermont's favorite weather lesson:
Yup, long wintah, eleven months startin' in August, ending in June, and another whole month of damned poor sleddin'!
The best weather is yet to come, and that coal won't go bad sitting wherever it may be, but I'm happy for you to be 'ready'!! All paid for...so interior comfort is not even a concern.
You characters aren't gettin the snowmobiles ready for the season are you? If so, we may have to send the boys in white jump suits to pick you up and deliver you for some mental reorientation!
90 degrees every day and you are washin' the long johns and gettin' the comforters out for the upcoming wintah!

I might have a ton left in the basement right now. I went through about 11-12 ton over the last year and I am not excited about spending more money on coal ... but on the other hand im saving over 50% compared to what my NG bills use to be

You guys are scarin' me with all this talk about the cool weather coming on. I haven't even gotten the canvas off the camper yet. I had better get crackin and pump up the tires and go someplace, even though I do not like camping in "sauna" weather. Mike
