Yep, I'd call that a good day
Now there's some Omega-3 supplements!!!! I have that exact same jacket!!!! I finally decided to wash it, as soon as it came out of the dryer, I spilled ketchup down the front of it. Just took it out of the dryer again. It's a Field and Stream.

Mt. Blackburn hiding in the clouds and Donoho peak to the right.
A bit larger view with the Kennicott and Root glaciers.
A nice afternoon on Mt. Gordon Lyon
And lastly the most famous bum in Anchorage. I saw him making out with some haggard old thing at an intersection a while back. Everyone was honking and cheering him on, and I do believe he gave us a thumbs up.

More stuff from the Dalton HWY
I sort of liked the last picture of this set, as you can see the weather was poor that trip.
Sign on pic three says "farthest north spruce tree".

We were up there in 2003, what a blast! It was 2 weeks around labor day. We flew in and rented an RV and drove all around. Even made it up above the Arctic Circle on the Haul Road (Not with the RV, but a FLy/DRive tour). Stopped at Coldfoot Camp on the Yukon river. Would like to go back again. Even got up close and personal with the wildlife (Bears!). We were about 15 feet a few times from them! The company I work for has a lot of equipment at Deadhorse, never made there, but a lot guys I work with have been there!
