Blashak Prices for 2010-11
On Franklin Mtn. just outside Oneonta NY, Swantak's has this year's supply of rice and nut. They've held their prices the same as last year.
From their flyer:
Bulk rice or nut; 245.00 pu
275.00 delivered with a 3 ton min. 'close by'
Bagged rice or nut; ton, 295.00
per pallet, 354.00
If you order and pay for your coal before Aug. 31, you'll get 20.00 off per ton. In Sept. you'll get 10.00 off per ton. It's not too soon to start thinking about it.

Spoke w/ blaschack earlier in the spring, they had dropped thier price to dealers this yr.---our dealer in Homer kept his prices the same as last yr.--this is good
That's good priceing. Last years prices actually for me.duck wrote:Agway in Westerly, RI is selling bagged Blashak @ $289.99 per ton.
Kind of strange a dealer I use went up in prices this year when Blazcheck dropped them. Unless I'm wrong about Blazcheck.

Pricing is odd you are right. Last year at the same Agway they were getting $325 a ton for bagged Kimmel nut coal. In Norwich CT the dealer is getting $270 for a ton of bagged Blashak. A place not too far in RI is getting $285 a ton loose.

South-central Maine dealer, $300 per ton for Blaschak this year. That's $20 less than I paid last year for Kimmel.
I'm in Albany, NY and getting it for $285 per ton + $50 per delivery of 2 tons. He's bringing it in 100# bags to dump into the bin that I'm in the process of building. The front is 4.5' which is the height of his chute, so its bagged vs. loose when he brings it.
