Any of you guys care to comment on your experiences or impressions of these two coals I would appreciate it! (Specifically on the nut sized coal for a hand-fed stove!)

My vote is for UAE Harmony. I've been buying from them for a while now and have nothing bad to say about the coal. I've heard mixed reviews about South Tamaqua's coal.
Buy some of both and you will see for yourself.

I have used coal from the South Tamaqua Pocket for the past two seasons. I have had no issues with it.

I have used both...actually have 34 ton of south in my one coal bin
And 15 ton of uae harmony in the other....you will have a lot less ash
With harmony....and use a little less...may even be cheaper....on the
Other hand never had a problem with south tam.... coal....just the ash
Difference is amazing.........right now burning a mix of uae, lenig, hudson
And some other....makes it hard to gauge burn times.....
