Flyer5,you most certainly consider it a compliment for the LL design. The uniqueness of the LL is the way that gravity (which seems to have a certain constant around here..at least in the Northeast) is a intergral component of the feed process, really simple. I've lived with this stove for one season now and my experience has been pretty robust...also in my case the Coal trol makes it easy to control feed rates if you want to control it that way.
