Coal Mines or Suppliers

PostBy: jeb2235 On: Fri Aug 27, 2010 9:50 pm

Hello I am going to work in York Haven at the power plant for about a month. Just wondering if there are any breakers or suppliers close that I can stop at about some bulk anthracite nut coal. Thanks.

Nut Hard Coal available right here in OHIO...Thompson Bros. Mining, New Springfield, OH...$250/ton...just off Rt. 7 north of Columbiana

Do you work in the building trades? I could use a month's hit like that!

The closest coal breakers would be about 60 to 70 miles from there. If that distance would be close enough you have your choice of about 6 breakers and more if you want to go further.
