From his position and his packed suitcase, looks like he's having second thoughts about running away!

Look at all the puppies!! :D (all dogs are puppies to me - that's what I call all of them  )

I'm a cat man myself (is that an oxymoron??? :funny: ), but puppies are alright in my book. 8-)

Won't go out in the snow. I had to pick him up and carry him out earlier. Now when I call "Marley--let's go potty!" he runs out of the room.

Our greyhound hates the cold also. I can get him outside, but after a few minutes he bolts to the garage.

Marley doesn't seem to mind the cold, he has that thick loose skin that you can move around and squish up around his face, he just didn't like the snow.

I used to have a German Shepherd mix; fixed her up with a real nice insulated doghouse. She would lay down out in the snow, curl up and go to sleep. Sometimes the snow would cover her up to the point it would just look like a mound of snow in the yard. Amazing creatures, dogs are. :)

I finally got him outside again, he decided he loves snow. Now he is off in the house somewhere shredding Christmas decorations.

Just checked, I was correct:

I'm glad that I read that the whole way through. Thought I was going to have to defend adopting pets.

This is Juliet, who we adopted from a shelter last year. My kids fell in love with her. She's mostly a Black Lab, but she's very small; I'm guessing under thirty pounds. When she runs, she looks like a greyhound. Maybe a little terrier in there. I'll take her, though, because she's the best dog I've ever had, although she has had her falls from grace (second picture.)

Congrats on your newest member of the family.
