Ya think we actually have a chance to change political ....

landscape in MA?? For the first time in decades, I'm actually hopeful!

People got out there for the primary last week, which is historically a "low-turnout" event in these parts. My write-in candidate for Attorney General, James McKenna, got in by a record number of write-in votes. Fully supported by both the NRA & GOAL, I feel this is a very positive step in the right direction! Hopefully we can elect candidates that realize that these ridiculous gun laws in this state do nothing but empower criminals at the law-abiding citizens' expense. It seems they want to give criminals the upper hand, while prosecuting normal people in society. Makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever.

Along with that issue, we need to dump all these career politicians once & for all. No more "Kennedy" legacies please -- a 40+ year run in state politics is a bit much, don't you think? Wouldn't it be great if we could also get the state sales tax repealed to 3%??? I could actually shop in my home state without feeling a seething anger with every purchase! AND ... not only that, but a majority of my ( and thousands of others) purchases would actually be made ........ wait for it ................. IN STATE - instead of NH! Imagine that!!! 3% tax wouldn't justify the trip up there. Maybe ... just maybe ... we could elect someone with some brains, for one, and someone who could ACTUALLY LISTEN TO VOTERS instead of ramming things down our throats, as the federal gov't has suddenly realized (probably after watching MA ...) it can do.

My personal pet peeve is the law they passed against anyone under 14 operating an off-road vehicle. Typical liberal BS. None of us voted on it. They decided this on their own, based on one incident in which the parties cried the loudest. Total bullshit!! We need to stop this!! If I hadn't had an off-road vehicle to enjoy, & give me hope back when I was 12-13 years old, there very well could have been a different path my life would have taken ... and let me tell you, thinking back, it would NOT have been to society's benefit! Riding was what "brought me back", so to speak. But I am just one man ...

Also these same *censored* who voted for this law, also voted NO on protecting landowners from lawsuits by anyone injured riding on their property! CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS??? TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!!! Something our current government DOES NOT understand.

This upcoming election is probably THE most important election in our lifetimes. Get out there & help change this place .... PLEASE!!!! We're begging you!!!

Rant off, ;)

I would have to agree with you on everything. This will be one of the most important elections of our lifetime. What they need to do is set a term limit for all politicians.

It's been pretty redundant, but, that term limit deal should keep alot of the bums--that think they are going to suck off OUR incomes forever--it's become like some welfare recipients--generation after generation do it--& then we have Andrew Cuomo up here :(
