Not a bad idea to consider. Once the tongue wt. gets up in the range a load like that presents, the weight on the rear axle from the trailer's tongue weight will begin to show on the lighter tow vehicles. Espceially if you've got a load in the tow vehicle too. Most of the more modern heavier 1/2 ton trucks with a class III hitch can also handle this kind of load but you should know how and why to use a weight distributing hitch (WDH). A WDH will redistribute the weight more evenly above all axels/tires, and keep the rear set from being over loaded and the front axle from floating. :o Also, tow vehicles have a max tow weight that if exceeded by too much could cause extensive wear or failure of driveline parts that might make it take longer to get home!

i dont think they will deliver to south jersey. pretty much just local to the lehigh valley.

Yu won't know unless you call... They seemed like very nice people..There also was a guy here last week with coal 4 sale.........

I would pay that, but I live in South Jersey in Barnegat. Im sure Delivery would be much more down to me, but Sure Ill take the number :)

Thanks for all the replies by everyone! I,m gonna come up with a plan real soon. If I can get my brothers truck and trailer, Ill probably go get it myself (I love a nice drive anyhow) but if not , at least I have some options now :) The people on this forum are the best!
