Hello Newbie!! I was wondering if you have a place that you purchase your coal from, i would love to find people in the NWI area intrested in buying coal in bulk a truck load would be much cheaper than bagged coal. could be a yearly thing for a few famlies.

This is Martin , I am also using Coal for home heating and trying to beat nipsco out of there high fuel costs. Anyway I was wondering if you have a pace to purchase bulk coal, I purchased bagged coal at a high cost, but i am willing to find others in the NWI area who would be willing to purchase in bulk. If your intrested please contact me at sta2butler@comcast.net

Hi from the middle of the state (a little West of Indy). Not a lot of options on coal here. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The dog's name was Indiana! Welcome all! Strange as it may be, our dog's name IS Indiana. We call him Indy, of course!

Workin' the Indiana tonight ! Welcome ! Let's see what Fellow Hoosiers surface to join in ! Have you gone the "Google" route to search for a Coal Source ? We're to you're East and I've noticed the Anthracite really starts to dry out just West of me. Let's see what we can come up with. Noticed your fellow forum guy Rex was last on Nov 5 and sta2butler was a longer Jan2013 visit. You may want to PM Rex and ask him where his Coal Source is compared to you.

Yes we've googled and made phone calls. We found a good place in Frankfort but that is about an hour away. Email. Thanks for the feedback.

I checked out this website but it looks like a company that sells the bulk containers. Do you know the process of getting a load from Penn to Indiana? Thanks.
