I've had a few pets around myself .... and so has my cat! Some cats are nicer than others though ... :lol:

SMITTY; we have those milk snakes around here too. They are beautiful and harmless but they look too damned much like a copperhead! The black one with the yellow ring around the neck is a ringneck snake. They are also beautiful and harmless and max out usually under a foot in length. The few I have ever found were in the 6-8 inch range.

First time in my life I have ever seen or heard of one of those. That was an older pic too - probably 3 years now at least. You never know what your gonna find out in my yard! Every day it's something new. :lol:

This pair of Pileated Woodpeckers are usually nearby. Typically they're not paired up when I see them but yesterday, they apparently had something else on their mind. They were going clock-wise around the trees a few steps at a time. Sometimes they'd spread their wings a bit to show the white bars, other times they'd just skitter around the trunk.
