bksaun, Sorry to hear you are not up and running around. But as Wood n Coal said, you are still here and things are looking up.
Lay back and enjoy the time to do nothing.

I wanted to update everyone on my storage shelf building expedition with DK. The project is completed, we are both still in one piece and I have a nifty new shelf unit to store my canned goods on. The shelf itself is an old 42 inch by 80 inch door so you know there is a lot of available space. The shelf is high enough off the floor so that the table saw and other things can still slide under it. Those things can be pulled out when needed without moving the shelf unit. The shelf is angled so by laying the cans on their sides the next one just rolls down when the first one is taken; insuring the oldest cans are used first. The labels are easy to read, too. DK designed it so when I find another door of the same size along the side of the road (most likely in someone's trash) he can add a second shelf to it. I am happy.

I had a great weekend! I hope everyone else did too. Hey, we went to see the movie "Easy A" this afternoon. For those of us who came of age in the 80s, I think you will really enjoy it. I haven't laughed so much at a movie since I can't remember when. It's a great date flick but older teens will appreciate it too. PG 13. Check it out. Lisa

Did you read about that movie before you went?

I understand it is an updating of "The Scarlet Letter".

I like movies than can tell an old story in a "new" way while being true to the original.

My favorite was the DiCaprio version of "Romeo and Juliet".

I'm sorry you're hurting, but glad they got it before it got you. Heyyy.... does this mean you get a 20% discount of future colonoscopies?

Yesterday morning was 30* but the day was so beautiful! Maybe only 60 or so, but it was sunny all day & perfect for working outside.

Lisa... pictures! :) The new pantry sounds nice!

No, my daughter went with her boyfriend. The reviews in the paper didn't say much. It's a sleeper, like "While you were Sleeping" and "My big fat Greek wedding." They didn't spend a lot to make it but they should make money on it as the word spreads. I guess you could say it's a remake of the Scarlet Letter but that didn't hit me until you mentioned it. I'm sort of slow. I enjoyed it and I don't go see a lot of movies because I don't want to waste my money.

Hi Freddy, my new shelf is in the garage. My pantry is much too small. The new shelf is going to be used primarily for long term food storage. I'll try to get some pictures up but don't hold your breathe. DK has shown me a thousand times how to do that but it just won't stick. Take care, Lisa
