Copper ?
I wouldn't dare use copper, the local thieves will come over tear it apart and sell it for scrap !
in fact you just reminded me to go put a label on it, saying "Do not steal, this is not copper "

The auger is about 28 to 30 feet long, the I have no clue what or where to get the hose, it was dumped at a job site by the cable company, it's not very flexible, but it does make it around corners, it seems to be a perfect match for the auger.

So the actual metal auger extends how far into the pipe?

How many feet of the pipe is just coal being pushed? (no "screw" in the pipe)

Thanks

The auger runs the entire length , I mean all the way to the hopper !
It starts from the motor side, and it turns Counter Clockwise, it goes through 10 feet or so of 2 Inch Galvanized pipe, then it continues into the flexible hose .

If you considering putting one together, it may be worth it to come over to Pocono Summit, and see it in action, there are still few extra modifications and improvements I am planning, there are some counter measures built in to prevent freezing , but I am not sure how well it will function until the winter season is over, by then I have more actual data, and no guess work.

Your system is great. Where did you get the 30' auger? Is it a flex auger? Thanks for the help.
