Get your free on demand while you can... You can't select what you watch but you can watch what your neighbors are watching.

The first thing I did when I got my new HD Tv set w/ QAM tuner to plug in the catv into it, before Comcast got here with the digital cable box. In my area, everything must be scrambled. I wasn’t able to pickup any free over the area HD channels, no neighbors on-demand, nothing.

Maybe you're neighbors don't buy on-demand. :P

It does work though, I picked up on this in a video forum and others tried it and it worked. Guess all the pieces have to be in the right place, as you suggested it's probably encrypted where you are at.

I don't have anything with QAM tuner so I can't try it myself. Won't be long before they shut that loophole anyway.
