My large round Godin coal stove needs the inner door frame replaced and I can't do it. I am getting the parts but need a repairman near Stroudsburg. Any ideas?

Russo products is not returning my calls about parts, and I can't get the name of a single Godin repairman. I would hate to think my beloved stove may be unfixable.

I don't know if this will help or not, but; you have two options. You can send the broken piece to a foundry and have a new one made, or; you can look on Craigslist and find another Godin cheap to use as a parts cow. I have seen bunches of Godins for sale on Craigslist some as cheap as $50 bucks.
I wish you luck in your endeavor.

Great minds think alike. This morning I found a large round Godin on Ebay which had only been used to burn wood. I drove to Norwalk CT and paid $250 for it, and it's in the car right now. This will be my primary stove, and I'll take as many parts off the old one as I can, then junk the remainder. Russo still hasn't called me back, it's been five days.

Congratulations! You solved your problem like a true American. More people need to act in this manner and I am being quite serious. You didn't wait around biting your nails, hoping that somebody else would fix your problem for you. You figured it out and fixed it your self! Good deal. Screw Russo!
Show us some pictures of it when you get it done and share with the rest of us.
Take care.
William

Great news for you & the mighty little Godin stove. I researched Godin in the past. The only place I found for oem parts was in Canada. I had never seen russo listed anywhere on any of the sites I found. Most of which were in England & France.
Try http://www.google.ca next time.
