Yep - it's still burning after 41 hours! My wife loaded it up around 7pm Saturday night. Decided not to reload Sunday night due to the coming 77° weather. Well, there's still a small red area burning as I type!

Here's a pic of the fire at 39 hours. Not much to it, but it is technically still burning! It's a bit smaller now though - might go 42 hours max.

Smitty it's too early in the season for your window to be that dirty already! :P

I know, right? That glass is brand new too.

Gotta get some water in a spray bottle. I've been using Windex to clean the glass for the last 5 years, on 2 different stoves. I was told the ammonia in the Windex causes that crazing of the glass that always happens after a couple seasons of burning. I'm going to try cleaning with straight water to test that theory out.

I'll report back in 2 years.

Maybe just a touch of vinegar in your water too. Always heard that helps clean windows.

I'm up to about 55 hours. I last loaded the stove Saturday about 9AM . I have the ash pan door open to liven it up. We'll see if I can save it. , Chris
