If you live in Eastern Ct.I have found a quick drive out to Cranston Coal in RI is worth the time.I just drive in get weighed they dump a ton or so in my pickup get weighed again Pay and go home.$260.00 a ton.And the nicest people you could ask for.

Maybe not as easy to get to from CT; good deal for me driving from Westerly:

$265/ton bagged Kimmel's nut in Narragansett, RI. Great guy to deal with, he met me on a Saturday and let me split a pallet to buy a 1/2 ton. Found him last year on CraigsList. Contact:

$260/ton seems a little on the high side for unbagged coal ... what brand they sell? May be worth it
