I have lost my supplier of bagged anthracite coal. Does anyone know anyplace near Harpers Ferry WV that sales some?
I have a Weso tile stove I have used for 20 years, I can't stand to not use it.
Help

I don't know how close it is to Harper's Ferry - there's at least a road sign directing you to Harper's Ferry - but I get my bagged coal from HC Summers farm supply in Jefferson, MD. That's between Frederick, MD and Leesburg, VA just off RT 15. - http://www.hcsummers.com/ - They are a great family owned business. I've been using them for 3 years now. I've also heard of a place in Winchester, VA but I've never had contact with them. Good Luck, Lisa

Thank you!
Jefferson is very close. Perfect.
Just to let you know, you've helped a 62 year lady who grew up in the coal region near Bluefield WV. I can make a fire in an instant and love those blue flames.

Welcome to the Forum. The guys at HC Summers are great. It's probably best to call first but they usually have Blascak bagged coal - nut, pea, maybe rice (never asked about rice) - as well as bulk coal. One time they didn't have any bagged nut but they took the time to shovel 50 lbs of bulk nut into feed bags so I'd have something to take home. It was ready when I got there. They do deliver but only in the immediate area. Couldn't hurt to ask. Great family and great customer service. Take care, LIsa
