I guess what I don't understand is why discrimination issues trump privacy issues.

We go to great lengths in this country to protect the privacy rights of individuals with regard to their health issues. How can those rights be protected if the person (and his stuff) is being strip searched, electronically or manually?

While equal access to public facilities is the law, those who want to maintain their privacy rights are denied that access.

Further, why do discrimination issues and alien equal protection rights trump property rights, state's right to federal defense, and citizen rights on the southern border?

When have the courts weighed in on those issues? Have I missed something?

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said in a television appearance Sunday that she thought "everyone, including our security experts, are looking for ways to diminish the impact on the traveling public" and that "striking the right balance is what this is about."

Well, we USED to. Just wait until this abortion called "obamacare" hits full tilt ... I've already read stories about veterans having their firearms confiscated based on what they said to a psychologist. If our vets aren't safe, who is?? I guess our personal medical history will soon be fair game to the gov't.
