18th century vs 20th century?

The NK is pushing to see how far they can go. A failed regime, they need stuff. The hope is that China will step in and
dope slap them. If they do not, we are allied to the south, and we will fight. The NK are betting that with 2 wars on, we
won't. As far as what rite do we have to be there.......hundreds of gallons of American blood has dumped on that soil. That
is all the rite we need. China gets croaked in a war....bad for business.

Their Dear Leader, Kim Jun Ill, is a frail 68 years old. He recently introduced his son Kim Jun Un as the next heir apparent to the despot's throne. They rule by fear and the next learder must be equally feared. This dangerous game just might be theater to establish him in the same form as KJI and his daddy before him.

The shelling of the tiny island was announced on their scheduled news broadcast almost as it happend. There is no accidental broadcast in the North. It happend just days after the APEC (Asian economic summit) ended. Now recall that the US aircraft carrier fleet had the exercises with the South planed for a long time. This was known to the rest of the world but not to the North's population. Taken with the perspective that the North controls the message to the people, this it a dangerous play: shell the island and announce it to the people, in comes the US carrier fleet to within 4 miles of their shoreline, then the South and the US does a lot of military "posturing", packs up and leaves. If Jun Un is the general in charge of this operation, he gets his feathers for his war bonnet once the show rolles out to the people.

All that aside, this is concerning. North Korea has been called by some as the most dangerous nation in the Middle East. Yes, Middle East. Think of their ties with Iran and their combined nuclear production capacity. It gets complicated and more dangerous. I don't think the entire world will stand idely by but lets hope we'll never need to know.

Just hope they get what appears to be a dangerous dog and pony show over with. Quickly.

Now for something not so serious. Their military is huge ...

With no food or hope. Only fear! There is word over there as to what the south has as far as food and medicine. It may be a cake walk after a few days just like with the Iraqi army. They are starving there by the thousands. I certainly hope so.

Ok, by that logic we should attack Brazil now. They have been enriching uranium for several years. They make the same claim as Iran and all the others before, "It's for peaceful purposes". Better get them now before they build the bomb and sell it to Hugo.

Let's look at this another way.

We have 2 families that live at opposite ends of town, one is named China the other is named Us.
China has a son named North and Us has a son named South.

Both the sons, North and South go to the same school. North is a bully and he starts bulling South while hinting to South that he has a gun (aka nuclear weapon).
South goes home and tells his dad that North is bullying him, his dad knows that North has a gun. The gun from all indications is a rusty old single shot that would probably end up generating more smoke than fire.

Now Us and China are friends in business only. Dad Us calls Dad China and tells him about the bullying, dad China says that he has to look good in front of his son so he issues a statement to his son and the press so that he doesn't look like a wimp while telling him to cool it.

Meanwhile the MSM and nepacrossroads.com gets hold of this and because the only other stories available to publish are about Obama getting 12 stitches on his overworked lip they make a big deal out of it.

SUN TZU ON THE ART OF WAR we may know that there are five essentials for victory:
(1) He will win who knows when to fight and when
not to fight.
(2) He will win who knows how to handle both superior
and inferior forces.
(3) He will win whose army is animated by the same
spirit throughout all its ranks.
(4) He will win who, prepared himself, waits to take
the enemy unprepared.
(5) He will win who has military capacity and is
not interfered with by the sovereign.

I wouldn`t sell the N.K. short on their weapons, thats about the only thing the country has spared no expense on, military improvements. Not to sell S.K. short either, they all serve a tour in their military & having worked some with their marines I would much rather have them on my side. Its getting to the point that I think the south has had just about all its willing to take, in any event its going to get interesting for quite some time.
Lets also not forget that in the event of any type of large scale nuke use the trade winds will bring the U.S. & Canada the radioactive clouds.

these politicians need to stop wasting time talking and wasting oxygen . have talks from politician with no balls ever worked . it is just making S.K. and us looking like wimps to the rest of the people around the world that won't to blow us off the face of the planet . if we will never react . we need to bring our guy home before they get blown away .

Nothing a psycho understands more than brute force. Just the threat of it has kept the world relatively peaceful for many years. If they weren't scared they'd have attacked us the minute we got into Iraq & Afghanistan, thinking we'd be over extended. While that may be true, who dares take the chance? That's a good thing.

Let's not even give N. Korea the status of being called a country. They are nothing but a CULT. They are taught to hate us from the moment of their birth for no other reason than the Fearless Leader says so. As far as China goes I seem to recall they outnumbered the Japs but at the end of WW2 the Japs still outfought them and occupied a third of their country.
