Great pics!! Just spent the last hour browsing through them. Man, really gives you an idea of how dangerous it was on that island -- and not just the danger of the entrenched japs. Lost lots of planes there - & lots of good men. Great rare photos of our real life heros. Thanks for posting!! 8-)
