Nice buck

Nice buck

Went out the first day, back of the house and had a good day. This is a picture of the 9 point buck my 15 year old boy Logan shot. 85 yards through planted pines. He threaded the needle and dropped it one shot, 243 Winchester model 70, 95 grain Nosler balistic tip. When we gutted it out the heart was split in half. This is the third deer he shot in the heart, I wish I had that accuracy, since i missed one.

Good going! Great deer for a young hunter, now get busy skinning and boning!

And remember, dont over cook it, it's already dead, you dont have to kill it twice!

Wow! Nice buck. He is certainly older than one year. You can thank Gary Alt for that!
