Has anyone out there use buck in their ahs 130

just wondering if anyone has used buck... ahs manual
and advertisement says you can... wondering how it
went if ya did... i have used straight pea...

Yes, for three years. Also in EFM's, AA's, Keystoker's and a Yellow Flame. It works just fine with the exception of needing an air adjustment in EFM's and some Keystoker's. No issues, and it is much easier to come by then rice.
You probably won't find it bagged, but some places will special order it if you want. :idea:

You can use buckwheat size and shouldn't have any trouble.

At the end of the day, BTU per pound is the same no matter what size it is. Perhaps some end-users that had tried various mixtures could shed light on what worked best for them. But a pound is a pound.
