I have a Harman Mark III since 2008. Since then the stove has moved a few inches from shaking over the years. I'm a little short on manpower. Any ideas on how to move back into position?

You could try to use 2x4 scraps to carefully lever it back in place. If you can get a lever and fulcrum going, you can move just about anything. Preferably when the stove is cold. I was able to move my stove easily with this method. I used a 2x4 about three feet long. Otherwise you could try crowbars. a piece of plywood or carpet scrap could protect your floor. Why don't you post a pic of the stove.

Yep, a lever and fulcrum is the way to go. I stack two regular size bricks for the fulcrum and use a big metal rod we have around the house for reasons unknown to me. It is easier with two, one to operate the lever and one to guide the stove to where you want it. Lisa

..get the cat to help you.. ..ok, just kidding, but this is a timely post for me as I'm in the process of setting my 500 lb. stove in place...with help of my engine hoist of course..I'm gonna raise it enough to hot glue the 4 hard rubber furniture pads to the legs before it's final positioning..

..and then I get to finish laying the rest of the floor tiles..it's only been 5 years.. ..

Do you have a bottle jack??? If so, or can borrow one use it to jack it into place... Just remember when using a bottle jack in a horizontal position setup jack so the pump is on the bottom or no jack action will happen for ya... Use blocking of sorts to makeup what you don't have....

Hope this helps

This may sound like a REDNECK fix .....BUT it works ...take J.B.weld a few 3/4" nuts, place the nuts behind the back of the stove in a spot ya cant see up against the frame or on a stove with legs place a nut behind each of the front legs on the slick tiles, fill the center of the nuts with J.B.....after the J.B. cures your stove will never slide back.
Worked great on my Potbelly stove.
