S&J which is the new name of the hole behind little buck is running, I was there today and watched the buggys dump
B&B is running again
Alfred Brown 7ft slope is running, I know that for a fact cause I moonlight there
FKZ is running were going there tomorow for Mine Rescue practice
Bear Gap is running
Cheasnut may or may not be running
S&M is running
Carline which is the new name of Orchard Coal Co. is running, I was by there today and got behind the Loaded truck leaving and the fan was running
RS&W is talking about going back to work in the Spring.

Being on the Mine Rescue Team we have to visit all the mines every so often, If a mine is closed because of the Feds we cant have a training visit there. There is at least one person from every mine on the team so if somebody is shut down or goes back to work its no big seceret.
Little buck is done today Just got off the Phone with Larry Pulled all pipes out today.
He Going to Bill's old mine to close it up . He did ask me If I would like to Take it over or knew someone that wanted to
Lots of work to be done there as your know . If You interested Mike Give me a Ring .

Then he is going back up to the new hole to dig more waiting for Permits to come in around March then he has to Wait two or three more months after that before they can pull anything out.

S&J is in Larry's old one pulling nothing but rock and pumping lots of water out That is why Larry left that one to open the one next to it which is now done as of today no more coal pulling everything out today .

I was at Larry's last Sep. when the S&J owner was talking to Larry about taking over the 7 footer from him they were working out the details .

Carlin was waiting for mining permits they where on exploratory permits according to Larry.

Larry did say Ricky did go back in to B&B a month or so ago He could not stay away from it Rick was closed for three or for
months .

I was not sure about S&M have not talked to Earl in a while.

The last time I Talked to Bob he said Bear Gap was not Running he was not getting any coal from them .
He said the same about FKZ.

So How Much is coming out of John's / A.B. Place .

Bear Gap and FKZ are running. I was just at FKZ This past tuesday, they were never shut down at least not lately the same goes for Bear Gap.
This coming week were going to Bear Gap and Cheasnut for Mine Rescue.
Carline (orchard) was down over the Summer when ownership changed but I don't think that was more than three weeks or so. There getting between 20 and 25 loads a week out of there sometimes more.
And out at AB there getting on average 2 loads a day, could be alot more though if the owner wanted.

The coal I got from harmony is excellent! I can only compare it to the coal My Grandfather used to bootleg and nothing I have seen for over 25 years has been as good!

Thats exactly what I am saying- Nothing in it but good coal, I have no unburnt particles of anything in my ash pan. For that matter I see some other people said about it being dirty. Which I am taking as the fines not being washed out of it properly but the coal I got from them seems to be cleaner in that sense than what I was getting from Blaschak.
As of right now I will give them my buisness till I see reason not too and as long as thier coal comes to me like the last batch I will not have reason to switch.

I think I will take a run to the 901 for breakfast and then head over to try my luck on a second load today :!:
I will let you know how it looks once I start burning it.

I have burned alot over the last three years and yet to find slate or unburned to speak of. They are pretty proud of their product and for good reason. ;)
