Does anybody have the address for UAE Harmony Mine? And is it worth the trip for 3 or 4 ton coming from Ohio 40 miles west of Pittsburgh?

Why is it that google maps has such a hard time finding this place??

Is that just a mailing address?

Any tricks to finding the breaker?

It's their own road, I did a google search and did not show it. You can see it from Rt. 61 in Mt.Carmel, my wifes GPS knew the way. It is some good burnin' coal :D

It's easy to find. I was just there Friday. It's only a 30 min drive for me and a lot of work but it's worth it. I love their coal.

What address do you put into "Google Maps" to find it?

I looked at Google Maps and came up with the intersection of Rt. 61 and Hillside Drive. I've got it saved in my GPS but as usual, it's been hijacked by my daughter :o

Edit: some missed the highlighted link ... click this link and it will open the map: UAE via Google map You'll find the satellite link available on the map page. Sorry for the confusion, I was trying to be concise ;)

I haven't used an address since my first time. I think yesterday was my 10th time I was there.

All you have to do is follow 61. It's less then a half mile on your right once your through mt Carmel. If you end up in centralia you have gone to far. I'm coming from sunbury.

If you go to the satellite view of google maps, it shows up pretty clearly right by the hillside drive intersection.

I was thinking of going up there for coal a few months ago.
I didn't in part because google seems to lead you to a school.
Here is what I get with google maps using the address 1 Harmony Rd, Mt Carmel, PA 17851-1880.

Seems to be at the wrong end of town.

Sorry, but I don't see it, even on the satellite view. If I follow "brckwlt"s directions and assume "once your through mt Carmel" is at the intersection of W. Pine St. and W. Oak St. there is nothing that looks like a coal breaker within 3000 ft. of there.

Please post where UAE Harmony is with the names of the nearest intersecting roads.

It's 65 miles for me. Same as Superior. I'll try UAE next.

OK. I found it now. The key for me was the addition of Hillside Drive.

Now assuming I'm driving from Harrisburg on I81 north. Should I get off at State Route 901 (Sunbury Rd) or continue two more exits to US 61 Frackville. I'll be driving a diesel pickup with a 10 ton trailer.
