Yeah that's it. I bought that car gutted for racing, with a parts car that the guy said he found under a bridge in urban NJ. Man was I into that project. Everything they say about Fiats is true. Fix It Again Tony. I was getting parts from a place called Bayless in Ga. Pre-internet, you had to call to get parts; one guy was a cranky biotch, the other guy was always helpful. I found a cocaine vial behind the dashboard of the parts car, when I was transferring the interior. I put the fender flares on it and painted it with single stage oem black. Had air shocks in it and put an air shock pressure guage in the dash. The car was not fast off the line, but the engine would turn 8000 rpm before redlining. I guess they used to track race these kind of cars, they'd always be turning high rpms. I junked the parts car and sold the X-1/9 for $1600 when I got tired of it. That's probably how many hours I had into it!. My shop had a dirt floor at the time, I was scooting under it for something and stabbed myself in the shoulder with a piece of jagged sheet metal that was in the dirt  It made a movie stabbing noise whoa never forget that :D . Another car I wish I had the room to keep forever!
