Was thinking that a meet & greet maybe at a local restaurant central to everyone would be nice. Was thinking maybe something like the Glastonbury Betuccci's on a no snow Saturday at noon or so in the middle of January? They have free salad and bread/oil and if you buy pizza's the cost per head is not a killer unless we start slamming down beers that I can't do because I need to drive home. The Hartford area seems good for the guys in New London/Groton by going up 9 or 2 and for the guys in Torrington/Enfield/Hebron. Don't think we hear a lot from any folks in Fairfield County.

Other ideas welcome.

I'd be willing if I don't have to work. I won't know till the Friday before. My wife works every other Saturday and we are a one car family these days which is another complicating factor. Set a date and let the chips fall where they may.

Jim, thanks for the offer,I'm sure Cindy and Ashley already know we are hot.

After talking to my War Dept, I'm thinking we could throw out the date of Sat January 15th 12 noon, snow date the Saturday after, Jan 22nd. There were some communications regarding the wife issues with Hooters, so if there is no problem we can stick with the Betucci's in Glastonbury, it's a 3-4 minute ride from I-91 over the river via Rt 3 . Easy on and off, I'll give directions later.

I would like to propose that if anyone has a cool pizza or other joint somewhere in the Hartford area close to I-91 (and without girls in hot pantyhose) we can do that, no prob.

Looking forward to a good time meeting all of you, the mass boston guys had a good time with their greet several weeks ago, neva know, maybe some coalies from Western Mass may drop down, I'm sure that is fine with everyone.

All suggestions to make this a a great time will be considered.

Thanks

Ugly

Don't forget RI. The states are small around here.

RI checking in here, and interested. Cokehead, I can drive if you need a ride. Definite potential for a carpool form SE CT.
