That's where I use to get my coal. But I had to ask myself this question. Why is bulk more expensive than bagged coal? Lebanan is $300 and Henry for bagged is $289 to $299. I prefer bulk but I refuse to feel like I was even given the opportunity to be greased up a little before having to grab my ankles. I know this sounds harsh and I bought my coal in Lebanan for years but every year the price goes up and when I ask why I'm told because the price of his delivery truck and what the DOT expects him to do is expensive. My reply was I pick up my own with my own vehicle. His answer is just a shrug of his shoulders. I'ld rather go to Henry's and get a smile and know that he would do anything for a customer.

Henry is helping everyone, while 'certain others' are gouging. I've asked the same questions, but don't get a satisfactory answer. Lebanon Coal, Lebanon, ME has a great set-up, but seems to forget how he might have achieved it. Call Henry.

At Lebanon Coal, He didn't achieve it, his father did. Years ago when the father was still able he would meet there occasionaly to load me up. He showed me around the joint and where he use to load up a chute system to bag his own coal. The father reminds me of how Henry is now. Like what was said earlier, Henry is a throw back to the way businesses were run, taking care of the customer and doing it with a smile. While other dealers will shoot themselves in the foot, Henry will take his small profit margins and make it work. Greed will always come back and bite you in the arse.
