Do these work? I'm very sceptical. Anyone out there have one?

Well they look like art and priced like it too. At a $100 bucks a pop, I think I would get a $15 fan at Wal-Mart and set it nearby. Pretty neat though, I'm afraid with my luck OSHA would nail me for running an unguarded fan.Bounca wrote:Do these work? I'm very sceptical. Anyone out there have one?

I have the 3 blade one. Ad claims 150 CFM but in reality it's more like 50. I bought a 3 speed, 9" fan from WalMart that does much better , moving excess heat to the end of my 85' ranch.

But they aren't worth much more than that. I have 2 that were received as gifts. They look like they are really going but there isn't the current to push air. They are good indicators of wether the stove is cooking or not.
I wouldn't spend the $100 a piece for sure.
