$5 gas by 2012 ?

Thats the way to do it, lowfog. We have a Sam Club here thats usually the cheapest in the immediate area. There is cheaper gas down in Scranton, but only by a couple cents, and obviously it defeats the purpose if you have to drive a few extra miles to get it, so I usually try to get it at Sams every time. Last week I got gas in Jersey and it was $3.50 cash, $3.60 credit. Lucky bastards. Oh well, they get raped on everything else, might as well give em a break with cheap gas.

As a school bus driver I'm out on the road a lot in rush hour. I've noticed a huge drop in the number of cars traveling each day. The bus stops are actually filling up, too. While it's nice to actually be able to get to the schools on time due to the reduced traffic, I know this is only the tip of the ice berg. Just what for the summer travel season. Lisa

Gas topped $4.00 at the local shops today. $3.70 at Costco. It's going up by 15 or 20 cents a day around here; lots of people changing their driving habits. Lisa

I use that site too. Just looked at SC .... there's a place selling diesel for $3.57 there.

And they keep telling us it's OPEC that's bending us over. How can they sell it for .50 cents less than most states? Don't recall seeing any refineries in SC .... or as many liberals.

A Buddy told me a few days ago he was fueling up, and the price increased .06 a gallon
between the time he started and finished fueling.

He was PISSED & cashier explained price increases are done from corporate HQ.
