4.13 for regular. I' m a small contractor I can't take the bus to work. Everyone thinks now OS the time to get work done because we are starving. Prices for materials are up 19% from last year so the great deals aren't really here. Unfortunately, guys are cutting each others throats to work for no money! Something has to change.

I just spoke with my mother in law who lives in Council Grove, KS. That's one step from nowhere and about 30 miles to her job in the next biggest city. Getting to the job is getting harder with each price increase. I guess Steven Chu, Obama's Energy Secretary, will get his wish to "Somehow (we have to) figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe." I spoke with friends stationed in Germany and they say they are paying 8.00 a gallon. I for one think the cards are stacked against us for the near and far future.
Just curious how are you cutting back? My husband drives his motorcycle to work downtown most days and if that's not possible he's on mass transit. We are keeping a list of things we need from the store and only make the trip when the list warrants the trip. We always drive the car with the better gas mileage first, regardless that it's the smallest one. We just cram everyone in. I’m so glad I saw this coming and requested a transfer to a school bus route closer to my house - 3.5 miles vs. 10. That has been a blessing. Lisa

Just think of how much all of those wealthy share holders are making, you say they are the job creators we will have to open our borders just to try & fill all those jobs. You just wait.
