We all know that Thomas Crapper invented the toilet. My only question would be, What came first? The crapper or crap?

Don't run the pex around the ceramic base... remove the lid, remove the seat, turn the seat up-side down, then route out two 1/2" grooves all the way around the bottom of the seat. Glue in two loops of 3/8" pex. Reinstall seat, and connect to its own zone on the boiler, and set the temp to about 95f.
WHAAA - LAAAAA ! :D  The wifey is now happy!

There is already a heated toilet, not by coal though. Made by Toto. It will also give you a wash and wax when you are done.

Somebody gave me their old all in one printer. Here's a scan of some pix I took back in '02. The customers are self-made. Not upper class, overclass. So you know it's true, the rich *censored* between two shoes just like the rest of us. :D The high end toilets usually have crappy guts!

My uncle inherited a farm house in NH with a TRIPLE out house! They must of been the envy of all the neighbors. Mighty chilly though. The outhouse was at the end of a very long unheated and drafty attached wood shed so you didn't have to wade through 2 feet of snow to take a dump. (They also had a tunnel to the barn.) You only had to deal with the snow that blew through the cracks. I bet it didn't smell that bad until the spring thaw.

I here tell of doubles before, but a triple, just hope they were side by side and NOT one on top of the other. Brings new meaning to being on top of the PILE.

A former owner of the house we are in now connected hot water to the tank. The bowl sweats a river in the summer so they added hot water to keep the porcelan from working like a condensor. I'm too cheap to waste the hot water, towels work fine.

I'll tell you what - that is one invention that looks dumb until you actually take a dump on one. I spent two weeks in Japan this past November and my hotel had one of those.

Ron White did a routine on these toilets.....it's funny, but a WHOLE lot more funny once you've actually experienced one. :smoke:

Yes. I mix a little warm water to the toilet in the summer to keep it from sweating. Until I moved the hot water tank, if someone turned on the outdoor hose, the pressure difference would feed mostly hot water to the toilet. So when you sat, you got up with your butt covered in steam!

For Winter, the best plan is just get somebody else to use the john just before you do, to warm it up. ;)
