Are you planning on selling a boiler? I noticed that there was some R&D photos a few months back. Any results?

Yes we have a boiler model available at your local dealer, but are a little behind on the paperwork (yeah I know the job isn't done till the paperwork is finished! :) ). The 110 K dual fuel boiler (oil, natural gas or propane as back up fuel) is out there and in use by several of our customers. I have not finished the owners manual or brochure so I'm a little behind. The unit comes with an oil gun, 3 GPM DHW Coil, Triple Aquastat, High Limit Aquastat, PRV, Taco 007 Circ, and 110K Pocono feeder with 200# hopper. Suggested retail price is $3,995. I don't have a picture on this computer, will post a few tomorrow.

I have had one running since Oct 2nd 2010 and have had very good luck with the unit. No out fires heats my
1460 sqft with no problem what so ever. Using about 15 lbs of coal per day when just running for domestic hot water and about 50 lbs of coal for domestic hot water and heat with lows around 10*F and highs in the 20's.

Will it burn only rice, or will it burn pea? Are you looking for someone to demo it for you in Ohio? Is it ASME certified? UL Listed?

Just wondering how much this bad boy weighs in at. I only have one way in to my basement, directly through the house. And then down 13 steps.
Thanks

The 110K BTU unit weight I'm not sure off hand. What I can tell you is that 2 guys can take that unit down cellar steps without any problem. Used planks and rollers to roll the unit up on the base. Only took about a half an hour to get it off the trailer and inplace in the basement. The 220K boiler is 600 lbs for the top and 150 lbs for the base.

The 110K comes standard with a 3 GPM Hot water coil standard and a 5 GPM coil is availiable as an option. The 220K has a coil but I'm nut sure off hand what the GPM rating is but I think it is 5 GPM.

How do those of you who are testing the LL Boiler like it so far? It seems outwardly similar overall to the new Coaljack boiler. Will anyone who has seen both offer comments as to their inward (and outward) similarities/differences?
