The coal-Trol shows its 91 degrees in the room and the real tempeture is 70 degrees. It has been doing some funky things since we installed it. Any thoughts or comments?
Thank you
Jim

This is what I did when the Coal-trol was acting up. Unplug the Ethernet from the Coal-trol and reattach.JIMTORL wrote:The coal-Trol shows its 91 degrees in the room and the real tempeture is 70 degrees. It has been doing some funky things since we installed it. Any thoughts or comments?

the temp bias setting needs adjusting. Hold the menu button for approx 15-20 seconds until the symbol AT --* appears then push the menu button twice till the TB --- appears. adjust that number up or down( can't remember which will decrease the display temp anymore) till the correct temp displays.

He is right with the Temp Bias adjustment in the advanced menu. Mine was a few degrees off, but not that much.
Also try unplugging it for a few minutes...

I want to thank everyone for their help.
Today I talked to the super folks at Coal-Trol and we reset everything and it seems to be working. I still need to re-check my connections to make sure something is not loose because my condition was unusual.
Thank you everyone!
