that's about $1800/ton. Cheaper than burning $20 bills I guess...

Yup......I recall that.

But does the price compare?! No..... The vending machine asks $4 for a 33lb box.
E-Bay guy wants $15.85 for an 18lb box! And ya gotta wait for it to be delivered.

Yanche....You're comparing apples to .....uhhh....rotten oranges!

Also - does New Hampshire even have anthracite? But then.....all he has to do is just buy a few 33lb boxes for $20 outta the vending machine and then turn around and sell it on e-Bay for a steep profit!

P.T. Barnum once said "there's a sucker born every minuite"! :-$ #-o :badairday: This guy is trying to sell coal to someone who may not have a grate in their stove. That will probably turn them off to coal because they can't make it burn. :? :(

That;s almost as good as the guy selling a "Stick ON" Sunroof for you car on Ebay, want the looks of an expensive sunroof, but not the hassles of it leaking? Geesh. He was actually selling them!

"Anthracite Coal we don't have. You need to look in the Pennsylvania area. Anthracite is used in metalurgy.Very Hard Coal" the stick-on sunroof is funny! I had some dummy cell phones I sold on ebay once. They are real cell phones but with no electronics to be used for store displays or for kids or movie props or whatever without any risk of theft. I sold 3 of them and all 3 people complained that they couldn't make calls on it

When I was still working I put in an internal company newsletter... "FOR SALE - Latex paint thinner. Sold bulk in your own container." I actually got some calls from people wanting to buy. The bimbo that edited the newsletter was a real air head but boy was she good looking. Once when there was a re-organization the new organization chart was distributed with my boss listed as "Thomas None Thompson". When Tom got up to speak he first said "I have no middle name". Then miss bimbo piped up and said, "Oh Mr. Thompson, I looked it up in your personal records. You have a middle name listed". Like I said she was real good looking.

I kinda like the hats at I'm not a hat guy. If it was a black t-shirt, I might buy it.

Are there any screen printers or shirt stichers out there? I know a few coal nuts that would buy some shirts to be in fellow coal geekness at the meetup.

Couldn't have said it better myself, ' master!!! LMAO!!

That sunroof is an f'ing riot!!! I probably would have bought that when I was 15 anticipating my license!! This is great entertainment!!!

I sell everything on ebay. If people are dumb enough to pay $1,800/ton for coal, I may have a new business venture to explore!!! :laughing3:
