When to Start Using the Coal Stove

:shock: Wood and Coal,i heat a small ranch..counting the basement where the stove is I heat about 2000 sq ft,i have a entry way on one end of the house,plus the chimney is at one end of the cellar,if it was in the middle I think I could get away with a mark1 or 2.i have to do sum more air studies( crawling on the floor with a cigarette) and put a couple more vents in the floor to get alittle more heat upstairs. I have enough for me but my g/f needs it alittle warmer,good things happen when she is warm :o ,but yes....it does crank the heat...WOW! when its below zero upstairs is 70-72 and thats only comming up the cellar stairs.Smitty heats a big house the same way with a mark1 but his setup is in the center of his cellar...or swamp as he calls it :lol:
