Does it burn pea or nut or both?
What year is it?

That is a surdiac isn't it? If so, I believe they will burn pea. If you can provide a model number someone here will be able to give you all kinds of info. about it.

I'm not sure. It does not say surdiac on it any where. It does have a 2 piece hopper that
goes inside the stove and is not in the pictures. The printing on the label looks french to me.

As the label says it is a Deville stove made in France. An old company. Probably from the late 1970s or 80s. The design appears to be like that of a Surdiac with flue passages on the sides. It should have a hopper and burn pea coal, but could probably burn nut as well if the hopper can be set high enough.

Thanks,... in the one picture the hopper is on the floor next to the stove.
