Just over 2.5 ton since October. Getting another ton next week though I may go for 1.5 since it is only February. I plan to move my bin over the summer so I don't want it too full when the time comes.

2.5 tons since Oct 28. It's been darn cold here, but we're warm and cozy. Works out to about $150/month for a house that's 72-74 degrees. My last oil bill was $107 for the 33.9 gallons we've used to heat hot water since November. Well worth the little bit of extra work and dust.

I have used about 5 1/2 tons from first week of November till now. Heat 4500sq/ft home. KB-8 sits in a detached garage and i ran the lines 200' underground to the house. Garage also has heat but it is never on.

I'm half way through my third ton. :D
But I have the pellet stove offsetting the coal usage.
Ate up about two ton of pellets with the stove on the lower settings

Total cost to date......... about $1,400.00
Wonder what it would have cost me in oil? At least twice that amount I'd say.

6 tons in 6 months. Since #2 oil has skyrocketed ($3.80), I bought another pallet of the black stuff. Burning about a bag a day right now. I may not shut down this year......we'll see. My dealer hasn't raised his prices......still $265 a ton bagged. He said that he'll wait till this summer to see if the coal brokers raise their prices. Another earthquake in Japan today pushed oil prices over $110 per barrel. Gas is $3.94 around these parts and it doesn't look like it'll come down anytime soon. Hey, I thought oil was suppose to drop considerably and stay there when Obama took office!

Burned 2.5 tons just to keep the workshop from freezing. Down to the last 250 lbs. More than I expected due to a extra cold winter. House is hooked up and ready to go as soon as I finish the chimney's for the workshop. Down to the last 1.5 face cords for wood for the house. Next year I plan to have 7-8 tons on hand to heat both the workshop and house.

I'm now up to 3.5 tons. Winter just doesn't want to leave.

I'll be shutting down tomorrow though. Gotta make some changes to the piping come Saturday.
