Two Tons, officially fired up the Chubby October 10th, 2010. DS went in and was fired up on January 8th 2011.

In fact, I will be finishing up the last of the 2nd ton sometime next week and will be breaking into he 3rd ton.

About 3 tons so far. Started end of Oct. Better than half of my usual 5 tons but not half way through the heating season yet.

Started up on 10/31/10 and have burned 86 bags @ 50# each as of today, 1/20/11. 4300 lbs and giddy about it. Last year was the warmest ever up here and I burned 1 ton/month. My recirculation loop is paying off big time. 8-)

So by recirculation loop, you mean a pipe that connects your supply and returns with a ball valve to send some hot water back into the return? Seems kinda like whats accomplished with a primary secondary piping system.

Yes I guess, I already had my system in place with a wood boiler set up so I did not have a complex setup. I just put a small taco in its own loop from the PRV nipple,I know, Iknow, you are not supposed to use it for anything else, (depends who you talk to) and returned it into the unused cold water supply on the back of the boiler. It is the other orange wire coming out of the upper box in the pics I sent you. It runs 24/7. It is only a 003 and was used in the domestic water loop for the coil in the woodboiler. I probably should have put at least one ball valve in the loop but I used what I had on hand. I will pay the price when I have to replace it!

Approx 3 1/4 ton so far through the AA. Last year I went through close to 6 only heating the house. This year from 2nd week of Oct and we're heating the DHW and keeping the garage warm enough to work and exercise in. Guess that new pipe is doing something but it still leaks heat.

I was only sporadically burning in Oct and Nov since it stayed pretty warm through Turkeyday. But since the beginning of Dec I have been averaging about 1,000 lbs every 2 weeks, more than the normal consumption by about 500 lbs in total, not too bad. Maybe we'll get a little warm spell around here so that I get back on the average, but I'm not counting on it.

Approx 2 tons since the middle of October has been used to heat a 2400 sq.ft. house.Lucky for me I have about a ton and a half on hand yet, good thing too since the weatherman is expecting big winds and 8 degrees this Saturday for an overnight temp.I expect my kaa2 will be working very hard under those conditions.Love that thing!!! 4500 lbs since November 7th. That's a little less than 61 lbs a day. Heating 2000 sq feet at 73℉. including DHW. I just love this thing, and can't wait until it cools off a little outside this weekend. :)
