Looked at a Harman Mk1 today, its small, which I like & nice looking. Its rated for 1400 sq ft. My lower level (bi-level home), is 350 sq ft, & 880 sq ft 2nd level. Would the Mk1 keep it warm?

Hi Ron54,

I replaced a wood stove last fall with a Mark I, after much research. I have a 170+ year old farmhouse (2 story) approx. 1900 sq. ft. The stove is in the dining room, it heats the whole house. We still use the wood insert in the living room for additional heat when it's really cold out. Based on my experience, the Mark I will turn your house into an oven if you have it going full bore!
